What Strava data Burnner accesses

With activity: read_all permission, Burnner reads:

Activity type, Distance, Time, Elapsed time and date.

We do not request or use additional Strava data fields beyond these for verification.

Why Burnner accesses this data

Burnner accesses Strava data for forfeit verification only. We use it to confirm whether you completed a challenge that relies on recorded activity (for example, distance completed within a deadline).

Who can see Strava data in Burnner

Only you (the authenticated user) can see your Strava-derived verification information inside Burnner. Burnner does not share your Strava activity data with other Burnner users.

Storage and retention

Burnner stores progress figures only (for example, a distance total used to determine whether a challenge was completed). Burnner does not store raw Strava activity data such as GPS routes/maps, heart-rate streams, or full activity files.

Burnner stores the Strava access token only while your Strava connection remains active. If you disconnect Strava in Burnner, the stored token is deleted.

Progress figures are deleted when you disconnect Strava or delete your Burnner account.

How to disconnect (and what happens)

You can disconnect Strava at any time in the Burnner app:

Open Burnner → Settings → Strava → Disconnect.

Disconnecting deletes the stored token and prevents Burnner from accessing Strava data going forward. You can also revoke access from your Strava account settings under Authorized Apps.

Strava monitoring / usage data statement

Strava may monitor and collect usage data related to your use of the Strava API Materials.
